Not difficult if you have some mechanical abilitie
Once I received all the parts I needed it took about an hour to rebuild the deck and another 30 minutes to reinstall.

Takes awhile
Was skeptical the deck would arrive in good shape after being on month backorder. It arrived with few holes in heavy box , RIGHT where the upper mounting brackets are!,,The factory packs AROUND the deck but ZERO protection for brackets on top of deck. It does take awhile to remove and transfer all the parts, but if you have no interruptions and all needed tools, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Husquvarna sends along an upgraded idler arm bracket,spring and bolt

Poor packaging for such a large heavy item
Not a simple task but very pleased with the Deck provided. It has a modification or two as an improvement over original

Easy to install
It was easy swapping out parts to new deck except for our mower the new plate they sent for the pulley's did not work, the one pulley was too high and the belt would not stay on, so we modified the old plate to work on the new deck. don't know what was up with the different shaped plate but it was not going to work on our deck.
