Perfect fit

I needed 4 new Hex Nut Flanges to secure my Craftman 550 series lawn mower’s 8x1.75” wheels. The old part number was replaced with a new number. But, this part fit perfectly!

Easy to order maintenance parts

Blow-up diagrams made part(s) relatively easy to order. Installation was not a problem. However, I received two large washers instead of one and see no way the washers resemble the smaller size shown in the diagram. I made one of my own to complete the job.

The right part is important

The right part is important. This flanged lock nut holds a guide wheel in place. I had replaced it before with a common nut of the same size. It lasted only a few weeks before becoming lost in the grass. I am confident this one will last longer, hopefully the life of the mower.
