2nd time incorrect part sent for my machine
Once again the part I ordered was the incorrect part sent. It was similar to the part I ordered but a few issues with the one I received make it extremely hard to mount to my machine without major modifications to part with which I do not have the tools to make these modifications. Will be returning this part also, and will not be reordering via sears parts direct.

Lawn Tractor LT 1000 38 in mower deck install
3/8 in bolt that goes through pulley into the mounting bracket that welded on the deck was not threaded like the old deck was. I had to redrill the hole, get a new bolt with nut and lock washer. Basically I redesign it myself.

Had sears repairman install it.
It took about 2 hours for him to do it. First the part was missent to .ca. It was returned to parts place and reordered and sent to us. We had Sears install it. Then we received 2 more shipments of the same part which We got a label to return. We did not hear if you received them or not. We hope we will not be charged for those shipments.

Perfect fit and the lowest price available
I didn't want to sink too much into this mower. Sears offered this at a great price, had some work removing the old parts due to rust, but everything worked great

pretty easy to install
Removing parts from the old deck was easy ( after it was done twice). Remove the pulleys first before removing the spindles(I thought the spindles would fit through the spindle openings).One hole had to be drilled larger to allow the idler pulley assembly to be installed. All the other parts came off easily and installed easily.
