Key start switch and key 194953 attaches to the handle of the lawn mower. The switch starts the lawn mower when you insert the key and turn it.

Poor design
It took about 1 hour to remove old part, install new part. I had to change connectors as I had changed to standard 2 pin trailer wiring connectors last year when oem connectors failed. The new 'kill when released' cable was the only reason I had to change the part. The whole idea of integrating start key/charging cable with the 'kill when released' cable is absurd. There were no problems with that portion of the part. The 'kill when released' cable was breaking, so should have been able to just replace that part.

Easy to install
Cable was fine but the key switch wiring was too short and had to use my old wiring. This item should be sold separately.
