Very easy to install.
I watched a video online and had this installed in less than 5 minutes. Be careful not to pull the old one off to hard- the wires on the old one broke easy. Works like a gem now.

Simple 10 minute job!
After living with the flipper not working correctly for quite some time and always having to make sure it was in the correct position to shut the fridge door I finally broke down and bought the part. We had replaced the spring at some point but then the plastic on the flipper had broken. Anyway, I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner. It was a matter of unscrewing 2 screws and then lifting straight up on the flipper arm and unplugging it from the door. Simple reinstall of new flipper. !0 minutes total. Hardest part was unplugging the connector as it was quite tight!

Fridge 'Flapper'
Exactly as ordered. It took less than 10 minutes to install. The Fridge now runs less 'keeps both sides sealed.

mullion/door flipper installation on LG refridge
The actual part that had broke was the "spring" on the Mullion which is available separately but I didn't find this out until after ordering this part, the left door flipper assembly. part number for the mullion spring is AP5331239 and the cost is four bucks. However, to install the mullion, unplug fridge, remove the 2 Phillips screws on the center hinge and then lift the mullion flipper up and remove. unplug male/female electrical connector. Reverse this order to install new part/flipper.
