- Reverse the procedure to install the new one
I ordered the new one and had it in 3 days, via USPS.
This thermostat looked exactly like the old one, including wire lengths & colors.
I tested it prior to installing it & it worked.
I found it awkward to work inside the freezer, but I managed the task.
It was a lot less expensive that throwing out the 20 year old Kenmore refrigerator.
I was very please that I had saved the Wiring Diagram, Parts Diagram & List that came with it.
