Good as new

I purchased cheaper priced valve via Amazon and it was junk. No better than the old valve I was replacing. This one was worth the money. Good as new.

Read the repair instructions and just watch how you pull the wire connectors off and the water lines same way took about 20 minutes part was perfect match so no problem. Make sure to turn the water supply and electricity off before you take apart.

YOU CAN BELIEVE THE "ON-LINE" INSTRUCTIONS

I USE "ALL CAPS" FOR MY VISION, THAT SAID ALL CAPS MEAN "LISTEN", THIS IS THE UNVARNISHED TRUTH - THE ON-LINE TUTORIAL LOOKED TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - THE FACTS ARE THE FACTS - USING THE INCLUDED "KIT" WAS SO EASY, I WAS AMAZED, I SPENT MORE TIME REMOVING THE CARDBOARD COVER - OUR "IN-LET-VALVE" HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEM FOR OVER 15 YEARS - I WISH I HAD JUST TRUSTED THIS EASY SOLUTION - LIVE AND LEARN YALL, THEN PASS IT ON - IMAGINE THE IDEA OF "IN DOOR ICE", "IN DOOR COLD WATER", "AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER", THESE ARE THE COMMON ITEMS I GAVE UP FOR NO REASON AND FOR TOO LONG - BE SMART AND "REPAIR" RATHER THAN "REPLACE" - THIS IS WHY "PARTS DIRECT" IS HERE AND WHY I WILL IT USE AGAIN.

Pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install

the only difficulty was pulling the refrigerator out far enough to access the area. The rest took about a half hour to remove and replace the inlet valve, check for leaks and reinstall the back panel then returning the refrigerator to its original location.
