This drain pump motor (part number 479595) is for washers.

Drain pump motor 479595 removes water from the washer during the drain portion of the cycle.

Unplug the washer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

New washer drain pump motor

Pump came well packaged to protect it from damage. Just installed it yesterday, started using it today. After a few loads, seems to be working good. Sounds different from the original pump motor, but as long as it works, and doesn't leak, I'm a happy camper. I installed the fuse in the console; was fairly easy to do. Pump is very easy; 2 wires disconnected, twist off the old motor, twist on the new, reconnect wires.

The new pump came with the additional fuse needed so the main fuse on the control board doesn't blow it the pump fails again. This was an OEM part, Sears was the only place I could find it under 200$ dollars. It was delivered ahead of the scheduled ship date I was given when I ordered it

easy fix anyone can do. replacing this pump requires laying the washer on its back so get a helper if you can. always disconnect power and water lines first.

It was very easy to install. But it came broken!

Unplug the unit then unplug the wires to the pump. Push the lock tab and turn the motor. Twist the new pump into place. Plug the wires back in to the pump and unit. Your done!

Overall installation took just under 20 minutes. Installation of the pump itself took less than 2 minutes. The in-line fuse installation took about 15 minutes.
