Extremely expensive but Easy to install!!
It's a nut. I screwed it onto the threads of the spindle. It's $20 for ONE NUT!!!! It's really, really, really expensive!! The photo is misleading and sears should tell you that it is $20.00 US for just one single nut. I feel exploited.

Overpriced
$17 for 1 nut is to high. It has NF threads so you have no choice for the 7/8" nut.
