Right part easy to install
Make sure you have an emery board or fine grit sandpaper to clean up the shaft and the locking plate when before putting it on and use a light coat of oil to help it slide on.

Easy install
I replaced this part at the same time I replaced the mower ball on my machine. Once the old mower ball (or what's left of it) is removed, the carrier plate slips right off. A little squirt of some WD-40 or similar type lube really helps removal. A little more lube will help the lock plate slip into the new carrier plate.
