Our dryer suddenly started making a lot of noise. Turned out the old blower was rotating around the center nut insert and while spinning about half the speed of the motor, was also wobbling all over the place. Once the dryer was disassembled, I used a hole saw with the center drill bit removed to separate the blower wheel and the center nut insert. Then while holding the other end of the motor shaft with a 1" wrench, I used a stud remover to get what was left of the center nut, off the motor shaft. Once removed, the new blower went on like a breeze. Fit perfect and worked well. The dryer is now as quiet as can be and working great.
