Easy to install. 1/2in wrench to keep the bottom locked. 9/16in socket with an extension for the top works best. Takes a few minutes to replace. More than likely your old lock washer and hex nut are still reusable. Just buy the pivot link and save yourself from buying an overpriced washer and nut. It took forever for this part to ship though...

Original service part replacement
Part quality design leaves much to be desired, but this is an exact replacement part. This part is NOT serviceable. Over time and use the ball joint sockets in the steering rods get severely beaten up then become disconnected for which there is no fix but replacement. There is no maintenance zerk fitting to keep ball joint sockets lubricated. It would be wise for customers to order a complete pair of these if they find themselves needing to replace one of these. Unfortunately the design of these parts requires that they be replaced as there is no fix for beaten up ball sockets.
