It seem overpriced

I have not installed it, because my circumstances has changed. As to the ease of installing this part, it depends on an refrigerator design. With my 20 years old Kenmore Elite it would not be easy.

Starter relay

Installing the part is not problem, however the new part prions (the hookup attachments were not matching in size) so It took sometimes to go and buy new clips that fit the new part. But worked fine after the mod completed successfully.

Cheap universal part

On my Maytag refrigerator, the start device failed. Sears parts outlet showed a picture of the exact part, precise match. What they shipped was a cheap imitation universal fit part. I returned it and they charged a fee that I could not figure out. It wasn't a restocking fee, or tax, or shipping charge. I took it as a lesson never to buy from them. I found the exact part at another supplier and fixed my appliance. Beware...

Very difficult to install

Although the part was the correct one, the male/female connection didn't match very well with our refrigerator. Also, the male/female connections were upside down on the new part, so both pieces and the clip had to be reversed. I had a friend helping who is retired from the business, so there were surprises for us both.
