Anode rod 9003721 attracts and neutralizes corrosive particles found in water to help extend the life of the water heater tank.

Disconnect electrical power to the water heater, turn off the water supply and drain the tank before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Guaranteed longevity.

My sears water heater will last for many many years. Replacing the sacrificial anode every five years will keep the water heater from rotting away.

Replacement Anode

This replacement anode was specified as being the correct part for my water heater but was considerably shorter than the one being replaced. Hope it works

WRONG PART SHIPPED

I HAD TO PAY $189 FOR A SEARS SERVICE CALL ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE ANODE PROVIDED WAS NOT THE CORRECT ONE. IT WAS ONLY 19 INCHES LONG WHEREAS THE ROD REMOVED FROM THE WATER HEATER WAS 33 INCHES.

THERE WAS NO PACKING SLIP FOR INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONS.
