Easy to change. Great that replacement is available specially considering it’s a 20-yr old freezer. But expensive.

Had my doubts when ordering a replacement bulb. Going from a long skinny to a short squat was doubtful. The explanation for the size change cleared up any doubts.

I was glad others had mentioned that the current bulb was a different size from those from years ago. Yes, it fit. Yes, it worked, however it seems somewhat less bright than the original, but maybe that's imagination.

This was the second bulb sent as length of bulb changed and thought it was wrong. Secibd attempt found the shorter bulb does work - lit up the inside of my freezer agian.

After I got the base out of the socket, light bulb was as easy to install as any other lightbulb. When looking online for a new light bulb after the old one broke and burned out, was advised this bulb was discontinued. Therefore, necessary to contact a representative who advised this was the replacement bulb, but system didn't tell me that. Also, very expensive $35 light bulb plus $10 shipping?????
