This manufacturer-approved filter plate (part number 16937) is for wet/dry vacuums.

Filter plate 16937 sits at the bottom of the filter cage and provides support for the filter.

Unplug the wet/dry vacuum before replacing this part.

When I ordered the filter, I also ordered the end filter plate and nut because I had lost both years ago. When I received the filter, I found it had an end plate made into the filter so there is no longer a need for a filter plate. I will still need the nut to secure the filter to the wet/dry vac. I will now explore how to return the end plate and get a refund.
