correct part
Samsung drain pump assembly. Difficult to get correct part number as this version of installation was only built for a couple of years. Competitor actually found the part number and I can to Sears because they had it in stock.

Parts Fit Perfect, Shipping A Little Slow
Nothing to this one boys. Took off the old cover which was cracked all to pieces, and just barely hanging on. Removed a half dozen screws and out came the pump. Placed it into the new cover, secured it, reattached the entire unit with 3 bolts, and secured the tub drainage hose and the main drainage hose with tighter house clamps. Thanks to the movers from a year or so ago for that little surprise. Nothing like water flooding into the kitchen from a drainage hose that would never have come loose except for their careless handling and slamming things around, probably on purpose. Anyway, the parts were just right, fit perfectly, and she's running like a top once again. I was actually thrilled to wash clothes again, but that came to an abrupt end just as soon as the dryer beeped and it was time to hang and fold. Simple, straight-forward repair though, nothing to it.
