Installaton was easy following a video found online. Many for sale on the internet are copy or counterfeit, this is the real thing.

Easy install

Took approximately one hour to install. You tube video shows better way to install that taking everything out.

Easy but involved

This was not a difficult repair, but it did require almost complete disassembly of the dryer. I am not a handy-woman, but with the help of a great YouTube video I was able to complete this repair successfully. Really, all you need is a screwdriver and some needle-nose pliers. Be sure to keep screws with the right pieces as you remove them, and remember to refasten all wiring harnesses as you put things back together again. I also recommend having a shop vac on hand as you complete this repair. There was a shocking amount of lint inside the dryer cabinet, and that is probably what led to the part failure in the first place. This is the video I used to guide me through the repair.

Worked perfectly

Took two hours total, to take the dryer apart, replace heating element, then put back together.
