The video wasn't exactly my model dryer but provide enough detail for a modest do it yourselfers to make it possible to muddle through the repair successfully.

Stopped the rattling ;)
Dryer model: Kenmore elite dryer model no. starts with 796. We had a rattling sound coming from the dryer. After discussing with a handy uncle determined it was likely the pulley. This particular dryer wasn't as easy to work on as we expected, but the pulley itself was pretty easy to change out. We are very novice at appliance repairs! Now the dryer runs quietly again. Only problem is the auto dry sensing feature is not working... If anyone has some input on that it would be appreciated LOL. I'm assuming something was disrupted or not put together right when we re-assembled. We bought this dryer from a friend so we do not have the manuals, I've had a hard time finding one online.
