No problem with the purchasing the compressor from Sears Parts Direct. After having a Sears Home Services technician check out the refrigerator on May 6,2020, it was confirmed that the compressor was bad. The evaporator fan motor was not working. He was unable to find a replacement fan but lubricated the fan and was then temporarily fixed. The technician then scheduled a followup appointment to replace the compressor. I then received a text message that the appointment scheduled by the technician had been cancelled with no explanation. Called Sears Home Services and was told that they do not service that refrigerator anymore. So why would they sell me a compressor that they would not install? Why did the technician not tell me about then service problem? Instead, just send me a text that the appointment had been cancelled. Does not really rate one star. Pathetic sevice.
