Washer stopped working mid cycle. Checked error code which showed bad door lock. I checked lock with multimeter and it was no good. Read a lot of iffy reviews on Amazon products and figured I’d dish out a few extra bucks and avoid having to replace it again. Works perfect

Easy to install

It was easy to install in of itself - only difficulty was with the screws- had the darnedest time getting them tightened back on to the new part, etc. so the lock latches would be able to “catch” properly- it’s finally on & my dryer is now “spinning” properly-Thanks!

Easy install

Door lock switch went out. Ordered it and the other part to be certain. A friend installed as I was 4 hours away.

Easy to find the right part and install

My washer had quit spinning and draining, and not being an expert I assumed the pump had quit. When replacing that didn’t work (I already had a spare) we figured out that if we pressed on the door the spin cycle would run. After about 2 weeks of duct taping it each wash, that quit working and it was time to replace the door lock. I ordered the part on the weekend and had it by Thursday. It took all of a few minutes to install (since in replacing the pump we had learned the anatomy of our washer), and I never even had to make a visit to the laundromat. I liked that all I had to do was enter the washer’s model number and there was no guessing as to whether it would be compatible. All in all, a seamless process for this pair of washer repair novices!

Easy to install...after I watched the video!

Took roughly 20-30 min. Need the right tools and patience. Still, a one person job!

Washer lock for door replacement

Worked great. Watched a youtube on the process. Saved me money and kept the repairman out of our house during Covid!
