Vacuum Hose Swivel
Again expensive considering the original purchase price of the vacuum. Difficult to remove hose sleeve and difficult to get it back together after connecting the wires despite You Tube tips.

Perfect fit, easy install.
This was an exact form, fit, and function. Keep the ferrule ends not the middle in the guides and it will snap right together.

Not easy to install: Watch the youtube videos!
After watching the video on how-to, taking it apart and configuring the new one was not hard, took an hour or two. Getting the slip-cover back onto the swivel assembly, different story. Every video and feedback said the same thing. After a few hours of trying, i got as close as possible and resorted to gorilla tape. Works fine!

~20$ way better than a new vacuum
The boys were fighting as siblings do. one stepped on the vacuum while the other pulled on the hose, and then next thing they knew the hose was no longer connected to vacuum. I considered a new vacuum, but they were all expensive or poor performing. Then I found this part for ~20$. The vacuum is back to running, even better than before. The only challenge was getting the outer sleeve to release, which is a snap on part. The key is to lift on the sleeves plastic mold seams and then it slides right off. The kids are less happy as they have to use the vacuum again.
