Didn't realize the frame is attached to the glass by four strips of double sided tape and unfortunately its on the back painted side. I had to use a razor blade to cut the tape AFTER I located the tape which is unseen. May not be a job for most people even though it looks easy..it's not. But the frame is exact replacement for one that had rusted on the bottom strip for some reason. I was going to buy a new stove it looked so bad, then found this online to make the cosmetic repair. Glad I did. You will need to at least put double sided tape at the upper left and right "legs" to hold it in place. I used a 3M tape used to attach strips/emblems to a car which I luckily already had. But the item itself is great and it saved buying a new stove. The picture shows the bottom strip that had rusted, the only real problem with this 16 year old Kenmore. I have no idea why the frame had rusted but you could break off pieces after I got it off, Looked pretty bad.
