replacing heating element on smooth top stove

My hardest job was finding the model number of my stove (written on the back side of a flap that folded down behind the stove).. The new part came promptly and was easy to install.

Easy peasy.

Just needed a Phillips screwdriver to do the entire job.

Heat element is easy to install

It was easy to install the heat element in 20 minutes. I have to use the range electric diagram. Removal (and the reassembly) of the top desk is a must. Watch the LED light. It must go off when the heat element is deenergized (It's the user experience.)

good

replaced burnt element in Maytag range. be sure to reconnect wires by their id, not by their locations. 1a back to 1a, 2b back to 2b, etc.

Quick replacement

The total replacement time was less than half an hour. Part was an exact match and easy to install with a minimum of tools. My range was a Maytag Gemini series.

Element for stove

Took a while to get it. But it was worth wait. The price was lower than all the other prices I saw on the web. I got it I installed it and we are using it.

Had to adjust it

The range heating element was different than the original one (which is pictured on this page) with two extra cables that required some figuring out how to use them and then install (easy part).
