LG Wall Oven Parts
LG Electronics is a world leader in innovative home appliances, manufacturing reliable wall ovens with award-winning designs. Occasionally, improper control settings and other factors can hinder your oven's baking ability, resulting in uneven baking and improper temperatures. Although wall oven replacement parts may be necessary, these quick fixes are often all you need to get your oven back in working condition.
Reset the Oven Controls
An easy wall oven repair includes resetting one-touch controls, such as "Bake" and "Convection Roast," to the desired temperature. Follow the user manual for the touch pad procedure to set the control functions for your oven model. Try pressing the "function" button, entering the desired temperature using the number pad, and pressing "Start."
Check the Broiler and Baking Elements
If the heating element near the bottom of the oven does not glow red during baking, it may be defective. Browse wall oven parts for a replacement. If the food is not browning, the broiler element may be the culprit and require replacement.
Adjust the Temperature Sensor
If the sensor's preset temperatures are too hot or too cool, dishes may cook improperly even when you input the temperature shown in your recipe book. Try baking an easy recipe at a higher or lower temperature to approximate how much to adjust the sensor. Follow the touch pad code shown in your LG wall oven's user manual to adjust the temperature up or down. If this doesn't work, the sensor may be defective.
