KitchenAid mixers are a common sight IN kitchens around the world due TO their exceptional versatility AND ease of use. KitchenAid mixer REPAIR parts HELP keep these durable machines running AT their best. There are three fixes that can HELP ensure the smooth operation of your KitchenAid mixer.

REPLACE the Worm Gear

WHEN your KitchenAid mixer stops spinning, it IS usually because the worm gear has failed. The worm gear, which IS made of a hard nylon material, IS made TO absorb friction AND ensure that the metal gears DO NOT wear. IF your KitchenAid mixer stops spinning, you should try replacing the worm gear BEFORE you BEGIN inspecting the other mixer parts.

REPLACE the Mixer Grease

AFTER a prolonged period of USE, the grease IN your KitchenAid mixer's gearbox can start to leak or go bad.If you notice that your mixer is leaking, it is probably time to replace the old grease with new grease. Open the gearbox of your mixer, scrape off the new grease, and apply a new coat of grease to the gears. Not only does replacing the grease fix a leaking gearbox, but doing so also helps keep your KitchenAid parts in working condition for years to come.

Adjust the Height of the Bowl

If the beater is striking your mixer bowl, you may need to adjust the height of the bowl. Make sure your mixer is unplugged, remove the bowl, and lift the housing for the gearbox. There is a screw under the housing that, when turned with a screwdriver, adjusts the height of the bowl.

Sears PartsDirect has the top-quality KitchenAid mixer repair parts that can keep your machine running at its best. Choose your model from the list below, click the chat button, or call 1-800-252-1698.
