Question and Answers

Q:

homelite String Trimmer Model UT-20811 how do you remove washer from head gear?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I think you are referring to the push nut that secures the head to the shaft. To remove the push nut you have to use a small screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Use the screwdriver to get under the nut and pry it up. Then grab the nut and work it off the shaft. Most of the time, the push nut will break when removing it. This is normal because it is so thin.

This may be the issue. If not, please reply and I will be glad to assist you further.
