Q:

whispertone 1200 power will shut off when pulling back

A:

Thank you for your question.

With out the model number I will only be able to give you general information and general area's to check for this issue.

The problem is in the connections where the handle and or upper and lower tubes plug into the Power Mate.

• Check to make sure that all the connectors are locked.

• To isolate the troubled connection, with the vacuum on use one hand to hold the upper wand and try to pull with the other hand to see if it is the connection where the handle plugs into the wands. If that checks ok, the put one foot on the power mate and pull up. If in either case the power mate stops it will be either the upper or lower connection.

• The most likely is the where it plugs into the lower connection on the power mate.

• Examine the two prong plug connection for arcing (black discoloration) or any melting around the connection.

• If you discover that is the problem the lower wand and the wire plug on the power mate will have to be replaced.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

I have a Craftsman Digital torque wrench that I need instructions on how to re-calibrate the torque wrench.

A:

Thank you for your question on the Digital torque wrench re-calibration. The torque wrenches have to be sent to a re-calibration center location in Garland Texas.

Kingsley Tools, Inc 3000 W Kingsley Road Garland, TX 75041-2313 Phone :( 972) 271-7117

If you will send them your torque wrench they will calibrate you 3/8 digital torque wrench.

You may want to call them first to get the cost of the calibration and shipping costs.

I have seen some web-sites about doing your own re-calibration but I do not know how accurate that can be.

I hope this information will help.

Q:

Long term move (1200 miles) with Kenmore front loading washer.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

As long as you have the shipping bolts installed and the washer is handled with care; it should survive the trip. Without knowing the model number I can't be certain who manufactured it. If the first 3 digits of the model number are 110; it is made by Whirlpool. Parts are available for ordering through Sears PartsDirect if you ever need to order parts. I'm sure the parts can be shipped directly to you.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
