Q:

I have received the parts below and need instruction on how ti install. I've removed the three screws on the end but nothing is being released.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to repair you microwave your self.

If you are trying to replace the outer door shell and the handle you will need to remove the complete door from the microwave. This may involve uninstalling the microwave.

Because you are replacing door parts on the microwave I have to inform you that Microwaves are inherently dangerous to service. They contain high voltage internal component that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. A microwave shielding leakage test must be performed on the door unit using proper testing equipment following any internal component access or door repair before the microwave can safely be returned to service. These are the reasons why I recommend that you have a service technician repair this microwave failure.

This door is put together like a sandwich and you will have to get to the internal screws in order to replace the door parts.

Q:

My Cratfsman snowthrower stops forward motion when using ti.. Not all the time. I replaced the friction drive wheel and still does it. What next?

A:

Thank you for your question.

A few things can cause the snow blower to stop driving. First, check the cable tension of the drive cable. The cable should be tight when the lever is pulled. Next is the belt. If the belt is slipping when under a load, the snow blower will not drive. I recommend removing the belt cover and check the tension of the drive belt. If the belt is glazed (shinning) it should be changed. Next is the friction pulley the friction wheel pushes against. If that pulley has dirt or oil on the face of it, the snow blower will not drive. I recommend tipping the snow blower onto its nose and remove the bottom cover. This will give you access to the friction pulley. I used to use sandpaper to clean any rubber that was melted onto the pulley. This will also take the glaze off. Then clean the face of the pulley with brake cleaner. Usually after I had done this, the drive worked perfectly.

I hope this is helpful.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
