Question and Answers

Q:

is the power for this microwave 220 volt or 125 volt

A:

Thank you for your question.

Most microwaves are 110 volt units but some operate on 220 volts. The model number tag should have the electrical requirements listed. If it is not listed, please reply below with the complete model number, I will be happy to look it up and let you know the requirements.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

model 701.99570140 kenmore stack washer dryer

A:

Hi Pamela,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I recommend replacing the maintenance kit (part number 5304461262) while you have your dryer disassembled. This kit has all the parts you need for the drum bearing and drum support as well as the front glides. I am including a set of images below that will help you with disassembly. Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

Here is a video that demonstrates how to replace the parts included in this kit; Video . The dryer in this video may not look exactly like yours, but the procedure is basically the same.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or to purchase any parts needed; Sears Parts Direct .

Q:

I have a Craftsman 125 psi air compressor that will only go to 42 psi. What would cause this?

A:

Something has probably happened to the piston rings, cylinder, or the valve plate inside the compressor. You can see a parts diagram and list for the compressor at [www.searspartsdirect.com].

If a reed broke on the valve plate the air goes back into the intake and the pressure won't build.

While you have the compressor apart remove the valve plate and inspect the piston and the cylinder for damage or wear.
