Question and Answers

Q:

How to set the SR code after replacing the electronic?

A:

This code identifies the softener nominal capacity size. If the wrong number shows, the softener will operate on incorrect programming. It should allow you to change the SR number. To check the model code, unplug the transformer at the wall outlet and plug it back in again. If other than SR24 shows, press the UP or DOWN button until the correct SR code shows. Then press the select button and reset timer.

You may need to get into the Automatic Electronic Diagnostics per your users manual on page 5-3 following the steps 1 (A thru C) and step 2.

If you can not get the SR number to change I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose the failure.

Q:

Tractor Craftsman sears

A:

The two oils are not the same. 10W-30 is multi viscosity oil that is required to use in some engines. The SEA-30 is thicker oil. I recommend using the oil that the manual says to use. I have checked the manual and you should use 10W-30. If you need further assistance, please submit more details.
