Question and Answers

Q:

Why would my microwave work lights stop working after I replaced a bad 40 watt bulb with a 25 watt bulb?

A:

Putting in a 25 watt bulb would not cause any damage to the microwave. It sounds like something shorted when you were replacing the bulbs. Someone will need to check to see if you are getting 120 volts ac to the light sockets.

If you are not someone needs to trace the voltage back to the control board and see if it is passing the 120 volts out.

If you don't have a volt meter or are not comfortable making these tests, get a technician to make the tests for you.

There is no fuse in the light circuit to blow. There is only one fuse in the microwave. If it blows everything stops working.

Q:

I hve Sears Snow Blower Mod 536.886440 that need impeller spring pin. Part 454565 is wrong as it is 1/4 inch when 1/8 inch is needed. How do I get right part?

A:

To get the correct spring pin for the impeller on your snow thrower look on the page that says "frame assembly" but is really the gearbox and impeller. The spring pins are item 341. The part number is STD572512 and the cost is $2.16 for a package of 2 pins.

The part number 454565 should cross over to STD572512. I think someone picked up the wrong package when your order was filled. If you order the STD572512 you should get the right pins.
