Q:

electric-gas slide in

A:

Thank you for your question on the slide in range not working.

Without the model number for the range I can only give you some minor things to check to see if that will solve your problem.

Make sure that the circuit breaker for the range is not tripped or half tripped.

Turn the breaker for the range of and back on again to make sure you have the full 240 volts to the range.

Once you restore power you will need to reset the clock for the time of day.

If you have any error codes on the ranges control display most electronic models have a cancel button to push to get cancel those and restore the programming on the control.

Please reply with a little more detail and the model number of the range so I can give you a more specific answer on your range model.

Q:

Slide In Range

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

As Barbara H. suggested in the first response; adding the model number to the thread would be most helpful in providing model specific information. I added an image with instructions if your model number starts with the prefix of 790. Even though the door is not locked; the oven control may sense it is locked. It could also be in the "Cooktop Lockout" feature too.

If the image below is not helpful; reply in the thread with the model number of your range for model specific information and troubleshooting instructions.

Q:

slide in oven

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

That is a decorative rear trim that is used in some installations. This trim installation is covered in the installation instructions on page 8 step 10.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
