Question and Answers

Q:

2700 PSI 5 in 1 Nozzle

A:

Thank you for your question on the pressure washer o-ring coming out of the nozzle.

Without the model number I can only give you some suggestions about the o-ring replacement.

You may have to replace the o-ring if it came out of its location or you could simply put it back into the nozzle for the mean time an then order some new replacement o-rings.

If this machine is new and under warranty I would suggest taking it in to be serviced before the warranty expires.

Please reply with the model number of the pressure washer and I will be glad to give you a more definitive answer.

I am thinking that it is model 580.752890.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions and I will pass this information onto the quality group.

Q:

my 2700 psi power washer will not start

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the pressure washer. I will be happy to assist you. I recommend pulling the starter rope about 6 times. Then remove the spark plug and look at the end. If the plug is dry, the problem is likely in the carburetor. If the end of the plug is wet, we know it is getting fuel. Then I recommend checking the engine for compression. To check the compression, put your finger over the spark plug hole to seal it off. While holding your finger over the hole, have a helper pull the starter rope. The compression from the engine should blow past your finger. If it does not, the problem is going to be internal.

I hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance diagnosing the engine, please reply below with more details and the model number.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Q:

What does "Sd" mean on my washer?

A:

The "Sd" error code is an indication of Suds Lock (overdose of detergent detected during the wash cycle).

High Efficiency (HE) detergent is recommended which is a low sudsing detergent. Note: Using too much of the recommended HE detergent will also cause too many suds and cause "Sd".

I recommend not adding any detergent and rewash the clothes that did not rinse well. You will most likely see a lot of suds indicating that you are using too much or the wrong kind of detergent.
