Replace line in Weedeater rte113c model electric line trimmer

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

  1. Unplug the weed eater. Position the weed eater so you can work on the cutting head. Pull firmly on the tap button in the center of the spool, to remove the spool from the cutting head.
  2. Wipe off the spool and head area clean with rag or brush. Use 0.065-inch trimmer string and insert the end of the string about ¼ to ½ inches into the small hole on the spool. Follow the directional arrow on the spool and wind the string tightly and evenly around it.
  3. Leave about 5 inches off the spool and press that remaining string into the notch on the spool to hold it in place. Thread the string through the hole in the head. Line up the notch on the spool with the notch on the head.
  4. Push the spool down into the head until it snaps into place. Tug up on the string end to free it from the holding notch.
I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
