Question and Answers

Q:

RS ARP-1000ES AC not working ARP-1000ES

A:

Since the unit is completely dead, I recommend that you unplug the air conditioner and check the wiring connections for the outlet plug. Reconnect any loose wires.

If the wiring is okay, then you could have a bad control panel or a failed electronic control board in the unit.

Q:

Remote Control for RS portable A/C unit

A:

Thank you for your question on the 3 year old unused remote that does not work.

I am sorry but the Royal Sovereign AC and any of the things that would have come with started their warranty period the day you purchased it. Even the replacement remote started it warranty when you received it even though you hadn’t used it. I am sorry that it doesn’t work so please answer a couple of question to see if we can get it working.

I am surprised however that it does not work after you put batteries in it.

Please unplug the AC unit from the wall outlet and then wait 30 seconds to a minute and then plug if back in. Then try the remote again.

Had the remote had batteries in it before you tried to use it?

Are the batteries in correctly?

Please let me know if the remote shows any display when you put the batteries into it.

Q:

My oven does not go pass 250

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to provide any model specific information, I will need to know the model number of your range or wall oven.

Based on your symptom, if this is a gas range, the failure could be the glow bar bake igniter. If it's an electric range, it could have a faulty electronic oven control.

So that’s what I can tell you at this point. I can give you more detailed help if you could provide me with the complete model number. The model numbers are typically located on the oven frame somewhere around the oven cavity opening or it could be on the oven frame behind the broiler or storage drawer. If you could supply me with that information I will be happy to assist you further.
