Question and Answers

Q:

RS ARP-1000ES AC not working ARP-1000ES

A:

Since the unit is completely dead, I recommend that you unplug the air conditioner and check the wiring connections for the outlet plug. Reconnect any loose wires.

If the wiring is okay, then you could have a bad control panel or a failed electronic control board in the unit.

Q:

Remote Control for RS portable A/C unit

A:

Thank you for your question on the 3 year old unused remote that does not work.

I am sorry but the Royal Sovereign AC and any of the things that would have come with started their warranty period the day you purchased it. Even the replacement remote started it warranty when you received it even though you hadn’t used it. I am sorry that it doesn’t work so please answer a couple of question to see if we can get it working.

I am surprised however that it does not work after you put batteries in it.

Please unplug the AC unit from the wall outlet and then wait 30 seconds to a minute and then plug if back in. Then try the remote again.

Had the remote had batteries in it before you tried to use it?

Are the batteries in correctly?

Please let me know if the remote shows any display when you put the batteries into it.

Q:

How do I change my motor from 115 volts to 230 volts?

A:

Your saw does not have a dual voltage motor. The owners manual states the saw is configured for 115 volts at the factory, and this is what must be supplied to make the saw operate properly.

You can't change the saw to 230 volts.
