Question and Answers

Q:

I have a Kenmore electric range #9119354191 and it is displaying a 302 error code. Sometimes it displays 3, or 2, or 302. My oven and clock are not working.

A:

Thank you for your question on the error codes on the range.

I am not sure if what you are saying is referring to an error code.

Usually the first letter is an F and then the error code number.

Have you recently used the self clean cycle?

I think the error code you are seeing is the F3 or FO3 error code which would indicate that the oven temperature sensor probe is out of calibration and will need to be replaced. If you are also getting the F2 code it could be related to the same problem.

Oven temp sensor .

Please reply with further clarification on the error codes you are getting and if you can clear them with the cancel button.

Please let me know what you find to be the case and we can continue to troubleshoot with that information.

Q:

how do I R & R this part touchpad #97013466

A:

There is not a procedure available for the replacement of the touchpad on that older Kenmore range hood. These general tips may help you complete that repair:

Shut off the house circuit breaker to disconnect electrical power and remove the filter on the side that has that touchpad. You may be able to disconnect that wires and pull that touchpad out after removing that filter. If not, then you may need to remove the blower motor and/or other components. The owner's manual/installation guide will normally provide directions for removing the blower motor. You may need to pull the range hood down to access that touchpad. You can view the parts image for the blower on this page: Kenmore Range Hood Model 233.5548910 Parts . The parts diagram may help you access and replace that part.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician replace that touchpad, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Gas Footvalve R&R JGP330EP2BG

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Yes, the glass top must be taken off to access the burner valve. I added an image below with the procedure of removing the glass top. NOTE: Turn the gas supply off and disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
