A:

Thank you for your question.

I see that James R has given you a link to one of our pressure washer articles. This has good tips on using a pressure washer. I tried to fine the manual for your model but I could not find any information. If you could provide a little more information on the name and model, I might be able to assist you further.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

Kenmore gas dryer; gas flame does not stay on long enough to make heat to dry clothes

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Based on your symptom, the flame is likely shutting off to soon because of a lack of air flow.

If the vent hose is pinched/crimped or if there is a restriction/blockage in the vent system, the flame will cycle off before it reached operating temperature. NOTE: For testing purposes only, disconnect the vent hose from the back of the dryer and then start the dryer and see how long the flame will stay on. It should stay on until the exhaust temperature reaches approximately 150 degrees and then the burner should cycle OFF and ON in order to average 150 degrees when set to high heat. If you find the burner flame staying on long enough to reach 150 degrees, then this test would confirm a restricted venting system. Also, remove the lint filter and clean it under hot running water while using a soft bristle brush to clean any residual fabric softener off. The filter can look clean but fabric softener will leave a clear film in which water won't even pass through much less air. NOTE: Do not leave the vent hose disconnected after running the test. Reconnect the vent hose before using the dryer.

If additional information is needed, reply with additional information for further assistance.
