Q:

McCulloch MAC 160S Chainsaw

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the chain saw. If the chain will not tighten when you loosen the nuts and turn the adjusting screw, I suspect the adjustment pin on the clutch cover is broken or not positioned in the bar. I found a video that shows how to replace the adjustment pin. The video also shows how the pin should fit into the bar. Click here to watch the video.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

My Pro Form745cs model 831299470 treadmill grade goes from 0-10 and is stuck on 10. Why?

A:

It is possible your treadmill needs calibration. I am sending you 2 images that give you the instructions for calibrating the treadmill. In level 2 calibrate both the drive motor and the incline motor.

This calibration restores the consoles memory of where the incline is and how fast the drive motor is turning.

If the incline motor doesn't run in the calibration mode the incline motor is bad or a wire is broken or disconnected. Some voltage checks need to be made on the power board to determine if the incline motor is getting voltage. You could have a failed power board, but that is unusual.

I am sending you an image of the wiring schematic for the treadmill if you need to do the voltage checks.
