How can I get an operators manual or a repair manual for engine 143386040

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. I have found an operator manual for a mower that is similar to yours. Please click here to load the manual. If the manual does not give you what you need please reply below with more details. We do not offer a repair manual but I should be able to give you what is needed to make the repair.

I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

What would cause my Powermate to not operate?

Without knowing the model number of the canister vacuum and the Powermate I will only be able to provide general information. Since it previously started to stop and run would indicate a loose wire connection between the canister and the powermate.

The failure could be one of many possible failures:

  • Handle switch
  • Loose wire connection in the wand
  • Loose or bad wire connection in the hose
  • Tripped or failed reset switch on the Powermate
  • Failed motor
  • Loose wire connection in the Powermate.

In order to diagnose the failure will require check all electrical connections and testing the wires for continuity. Voltage will also need to be tested.

I recommend taking the canister, Powermate, hose and wand in for service.

Bad Powermate and Pet Powermate connection?

Thank you for your question on the power mate and pet mate not working on the end of the hose handle.

If the power mate is not working then I would have said that the wand connections have a problem.

But now you are saying the pet mate is not working and I am assuming you have it attached to the end of the handle without having the lower wands attached.

If that is the case then I think the problem is in the handle assembly. To better help diagnose the problem with this vacuum cleaner please reply with the model number so I can help you with diagnosing the problem.

There are three different designs and I want the make sure I am giving you accurate information.
