Question and Answers

Q:

my front burner does not ignite, the other 3 do

A:

I saw the additional details that you added on a reply to the first link provided above. You seem to indicate that the igniters do not click when you turn on the front burner that does not ignite. This indicates that you have a bad switch on that burner control valve assembly. To fix that type of problem, you will need to unplug the range and replace the burner switch/harness assembly (part 316219004). The burner switches and harness come as one assembly (they cannot be replaced individually). I provided a procedure for accessing and replacing the burner switches in the image below. Be sure that you unplug the range and shut off the gas supply before accessing internal components in the range. You can order the part (316219004) from the Sears PartsDirect website.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Transformer PN: 751577002 output voltage

A:

Thank you for your question on the output voltage on the transformer on the motor control board for the sewing machine.

I am sorry but what you are asking for is information that is not available. Because if the transformer is bad or the control is not working the transformer or the control board would be replaced and that information would not be needed ever for the service department.

I would suggest that you order the original transformer and then have a 220 European voltage converter to 120 volts US installed to the outlet for the sewing machine or on the end of the power cord for the sewing machine.

My suggestion would be to have a friend or family member in the US order the new replacement transformer for you and then they will need to mail it to you in Germany.

Neither Sears nor the manufacturer’s parts supplier in the US does international part orders.

I am sorry that I could not help you more with this issue.
