Q:

Can I get a copy of this manuel mailed to me? R Brown 4703 W Price Ave Tampa FL 33611-3346 Ph. (813) 335-1040

A:

You did not indicate which appliance and model number that you are seeking a manual for. You can access a PDF version of many owner's manuals on our Manage My Life website by using the Owner's Manual Search Tool. If you are not able to access your manual in this manner, I recommend that you resubmit your question with the type of appliance and model number that you have. If the manual is available we will help you access it through a link or possibly email you a copy of the PDF file if it is available. You can also call our Manage My Life Member Services team at 1-800-803-6775 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.(CT) 7 days a week. They may be able to help you access the manual that you are looking for.

Q:

Kenmore water softener unltrasoft 800, does not purify water when ph drops from 6.4 to 5.9. And how often does resin tank needs to changed.

A:

Thank you for your question on the water softener.

I will need the exact model number of your water softener to be able to tell if your model does any changing of the ph level.

Usually the softener only softens the water and you will need a neutralizer to handle the ph level.

You may want to contact the Kenmore water line @ 1-800-426-9345. They are open to taking calls on Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 6pm. Please have the model number of your water softener available when you call. They can help you with figuring out what needs to be done to balance your PH level in your well water.

The resin in the tank should only have to be changed every ten years depending on your water.

I hope this information will help you.

A:

Thank you for the update on the water softener PH problem. I guess we stopped having Kenmore branded neutralizers last fall but I think you should be able to find one they build under the Eco Water or Northstar label locally. I guess that is why they said to use the Yellow pages. I am sorry that I could not help you with your PH problem. Sam A.

A:

Thank you for the update. That information is interesting because all the neutralizer does is change the PH. It does not soften the water and remove the minerals and calcium from the water which is the water softeners job. So in the line up of equipment the neutralizer would be attached first to the water line and then the water softener. I have seen a whole string or equipment when the water is really bad and needs to be cleaned up for use. With most cities doing a better job of processing water the demand for some of these systems has diminished. If you still want soft water then I would suggest leaving the softener in the water system. Sam A.

Q:

10" table saw motor

A:

Thank you for your question on the phase of the table saw motor.

At first I thought you may have gotten the wrong motor.

But since I do not know of any of these saws that would have a 4 phase motor I think it was miss-labeled in Taiwan.

As long as you ordered the OQEF motor and that is what you received then the vendor for that product was sure you have the correct motor. If you did not get the OQEF motor I would return it.

I hope this information will help.
