Question and Answers

Q:

What would cause an "LE" error when the impeller can be turned easily?

A:

Even though the rotor impeller turns easily the most likely cause of the "LE" code is a cracked motor magnet.

In order to correct the failure the complete pump and motor assembly will need to be replaced. Part#3485ED1002B

Q:

Any easy fix for LE error code?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "LE" error code indicates a Locked Motor Error. I added images below of how to troubleshoot the Locked Motor Error if you feel confident and safe in making some checks, otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer.

The information is intended for a service technician with the proper tools and knowledge to diagnose the failure. NOTE: Disconnect the washer from the power supply before removing the top and back panel.

Michelle: The only thing I can suggest it to look for a loose wire connection between the stator, halls sensor and control boards. If you not able to find the intermittent problem I recommend calling a service technician.
