Q:

Is 56" the width of the 56 X 84 Ricardo Ultimate Black Out Curtain?

A:

The 56 designates the width in inches. The 84 designates the height. For a window that is 84" wide, you should need just 2 of the panels. You should not need extra length for gathering on a black out curtain. You can also use the 114" wide by 84" long curtain for the 84" wide window.

Q:

Can you help me find a manual for a Craftsman radial arm saw manufactures 4/84/7? It is part number 63870, model 509346 by Emerson. Thank you.

A:

Neither of the numbers you sent are the model number. Look around the saw again. There should be a metal tag on the saw with the model and serial number and other information about the saw on it. The model number should start with 113.

If this saw had any recalls or safety concerns they should have been taken care of long ago. I am sure it is safe to use.

My concern is if you do use it and later need a replacement part we won't be able to get the part without a model number.

Q:

i own an old Kelvinator range model RFP307CD3 with a self-cleaning feature. I can't find a manual to explain how to use the selfcleaning feature. Can you help

A:

The user's manual is no longer available. See image below. Usually 3 hours is needed for the self cleaning feature. Make sure the clock works and shows the correct time of day. You will find a Stop and Start time knob on the clock. To start a cleaning cycle the start knob must be in the out position and the stop knob must be pushed in and set for three hours ahead of the time of day. If the start knob is pushed in, rotate it around and it should pop out when it matches the same time the clock is showing. Set the oven thermostat knob to clean and the selector switch if it has one. The door should lock and begin a cleaning cycle. In three hours the stop knob should pop out and turn off the cleaning cycle. Note: remove the oven racks before starting the cleaning cycle.
