Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the mower. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. Due to the fact the rider is new I recommend having it repaired by one of our service technicians. I would hate for you to make the adjustments and not realize another potential problem. Please call 1-800-469-4663 to schedule service.

Q:

range does not get higher than 100 degrees

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details, the high limit thermal switch has likely tripped during the high heat of the self clean cycle. The thermal switch is located on the back of the range and will likely have a red wire with a white stripe and a black wire with a white stripe connected to it. You will need to remove the range and take the rear panel off in order to access the thermal switch. There will be a red reset button in the middle of the thermal switch to push and reset. There are no video or written instructions. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

NOTE: Disconnect the range from the power supply before removing the back panel and resetting the thermal switch. I strongly suggest calling a service technician to diagnose why the thermal switch tripped.

Q:

TEMPERATURE 100 DEGREES HIGHER

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If you're sure the thermometer you are using is accurate, you will likely need to replace the oven thermostat or just set the thermostat 100 degrees lower than need be. The oven temperature calibration adjustments are made by loosening the two screws on the back side of the thermostat knob and rotating the skirt. I added an image below with the calibration instructions.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
