Q:

Craftsman riding gears are hard to change

A:

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your tractor. Some transaxles can be lubricated to improve the shifting. If you could provide me with a model number, I can see what type of transaxle your tractor has. We have used so many different types of transaxles I would not want to give you the wrong information and cause more problems. I hope you understand.

Here is a link to question that might be similar to your model. Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

what type of oil to use?

A:

If you will go to www.searspartsdirect.com and enter the model of the chainsaw, you can see a parts diagram and list for the chainsaw.

On image 1 item 31 is the oil tank. This diagram shows the button to dispense the oil to the chain and the cap for the tank.

You should use any good bar and chain oil or 20 weight motor oil in the saw.
