Maytag gas Range model #MGR5729ADW Oven Temp error code F1 then F3

A:

Unplug the range and access the sensor as shown in the first image below. Before replacing that sensor, I recommend that you test it using a volt/ohm meter as shown in this brief repair video: Oven Sensor Testing . That sensor should measure between 1050 ohms and 1100 ohms at room temperature. If it is bad, it will need to be replaced. Based on your details, that is probably the component that is bad. It is usually worth it to test that component before replacing it.

If the sensor resistance is okay, then you could have a problem with the wiring harness or the clock control board in the console. I provided some additional access information in the second image in case you need to check the wiring connections or replace that control board.
