Question and Answers

My maytag ( MDZBH969AWS2) dishwasher is not completing the cycle. The machine will not work and I have two lights on the control panel that will not turn off. P

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

You did not state which two lights are on. I also will need to know if the two lights are flashing or not.

If the two lights are flashing, then it likely has a faulty key pad/control panel assembly.

The control panel/key pad ribbon connector will need to be disconnected from the control board and then an Ohm meter will be needed to test the key pad/control panel.

I added an image below with the procedure of testing the key pad. NOTE: Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link:Sears Home Services.
