Q:

2006 Kenmore Dryer won't heat up

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand not having your dryer running. Getting the laundry done is an important part of our lives, and when the appliance is not working it can be very inconvenient.

Without the model number I can only give you a general answer.

• The first thing to check is the circuit breaker for the dryer. It is a double 30 amp breaker and the heating half can trip and be the cause of the dryer tumbling but not heating.

• The heating element could have failed and as well as the cycling thermostat.

• If you have a Volt/Ohm meter and feel comfortable checking for continuity on these components you may be able to find which component has failed.

• There may be a burnt wire on the power plug terminal block and or the heating circuit it the dryer.

• If you remove the back panel on the dryer you could at least do a visual check, if you do not have a meter to check the components.

If you send the model number through the link I will be happy to help you further.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the tractor. The part you are referring to is the crank case breather. The breather comes with the mount, breather, and grommet. The part number for the breather is 24-755-57-S. the breather hose is part number 24-326-93-S. these parts can be ordered from the following link. Craftsman tractor parts
